You may remember this adorable couple from their super fun engagement session in Ann Arbor, MI last summer. They have been completely awesome to work with the whole way through. Their beautiful wedding and reception at the Old Bag Factory in Goshen was an inspiration for artsy, vintage-loving brides everywhere! Not to mention…we have never seen a groom so excited and to be with his bride before 🙂 Congratulations to Eva and Asa! Thank you so much for sharing your perfect day with us!
Shannon and Jared had their wedding on a lovely day in Foster Park in Fort Wayne, IN. An intimate and totally gorgeous ceremony took place in a field that was followed by an exciting and quirky reception that included activities such as bocce ball, giant jenga and of course mass amounts of dancing!
Congrats to Shannon and Jared we wish you the absolute best!
Brittany and Ethan became dear friends of Destany and I over the past year from when we shot their engagements. These two were some of the first couples to book us when we were just starting out and Colagrossi Studio was still in the incubator, thanks for believing in us guys. It certainly was a fantastic day for all involved, amongst a fallen cake and a locked up reception hall, I speak for all involved that this was a fantastic wedding and much fun. Congrats to Britt and Ethan on their new lives together, we wish you the best.
Mitch and I fell in love with this couple from the very beginning. From their fated first kit-kat bar, to their first dance as man and wife, Matt and Steph are a joy and totally belong together. Congratulations on this next step in your love story, I do believe it goes “and they lived happily ever after…”.

Hey all this is Mitch, I just finished up my senior show last night and a bunch of cool cats came and hung out and supported the IPFW graduating class of 2012. Congrats to all.
The following is a body of work that consists of a years worth shoots styling, picking models and locations and getting a lot of really amazing people to help me on the way.
Destany, was the most amazing help to me during this past year, from helping me style shoots and do hair/makeup for models, to putting up with my bad moods and keeping me going at a steady pace. Big big BIG thanks to the models who made this project come alive. Last but not least Ryan Lawrence and Doni Funkhouser, (AKA Dr. Funlaw) I abso-freaking-lutely could not have done this without the costumes that you guys loaned to me. Check them out at www.modcloset.com. Vive le Closet du Mod!
So, without further ado, this project is my interpretation of fashion photography of the 20th century; a series of each decade.
From Destany: I was sneaky and something to say before he posted haha. I want to congratulate Mitch for also winning First Place in Photography from his senior class! He poured his heart and soul into these shoots, and it totally showed. I love all of our family and friends who showed up in support. I can’t reiterate enough how thankful we are for Mod Closet in Elkhart for donating so much time and support. I’m proud of you Mitch!!
