Amani and her mother were an absolute blast to hang out with last week! They we graciously willing to drive in from Wabash for their senior photos, so we ran around downtown Fort Wayne for the evening. I (Destany) was in LOVE with every outfit Amani brought with her. Maybe she should style my shoots for me :). Stay stylish Amani, and CONGRATS!!
We had an awesome time hanging out with soon to be grad, Ian the other day. Ian is going to school at IPFW for graphic design (Des and my alma mater) Ian is an really cool guy with a really good taste in music and has aspirations of designing and creating artwork for album covers! To that I say, Fire away my friend, the world is your oyster! Good luck Ian, and congrats.
For Destany and I, there is one part of our job that is unquestionably our favorite: and that is all of the wonderful, kind and interesting people we get to meet and become friends with. Stan and Kristina are just those people.
Stan and his family have a passion for horses and it shows, so it was fitting that we would have part one of their engagement shoot on the horse farm! Other than a few minor hazards (hope your leg is feeling better!) the shoot was an exciting and gorgeous success. We absolutely love these two (and their onlookers too!) and we can’t wait to be a part of their wedding this fall!!!
Just a few days ago we had the pleasure of meeting Erica, a highschool senior who is way into music and wants to study theater in college. Before we took to the streets we were lucky enough to get some shots on stage, in the lovely Philmore on Broadway. We are certain this isn’t the last time we’ll be seeing Erica on stage! Much luck to you and a huge congratulations to Erica!
SONS is an incredible band that hails from the Huntington IN area. They have been touring around the states and making quite a name for themselves. They’re sure to make it, and it couldn’t happen to a better crew. Thanks much to our dear friend and SONS guitarist, Ethan for thinking of us to do these photos, it was truly an honor. Thanks guys, hope you enjoy!
The lovely Shanna is a soon to be highschool grad who is interested in graphic design, art and is a fellow photog! Shanna took on extreme heights, freezing fountain water and almost getting run over by BMXers all for the sake of art! I think I can speak for all involved that this shoot was a blast. Congratulations Shanna!
We had an awesome time with almost highschool grad, Alyssa and her mom the other day as we braved the elements of downtown. Alyssa wants to pursue a career as a pharmacist and will be attending Manchester College in the fall. Much congratulations and good luck Alyssa, we’re sure you’ll go on to do great things!
I got the awesome opportunity to meet a cool cat named Steven who is graduating highschool this year! Our trek across central Fort Wayne was a great one as we stopped and goofed around at some premier spots, and snapped a couple photos as well. Steven is a man of very diverse interests, some of his aspirations are to either pursue graphic design or voice acting (which I was particularly interested to hear about) Next time you see (or hear) Steven he may be the voice of Yoda or perhaps the next James Earl Jones! Either way Steven, we here at Colagrossi Studio wish you the best in all of your endeavors!
This is the amazing house that Steven’s dad grew up in.
Trekking all over downtown Fort Wayne was nothing for this pro runner. When she isn’t putting Mitch and I’s stamina to shame, Ariel will be pursuing a Business Administration degree AND a minor in psychology. We had the best time hanging with Ariel and her mom, Wendy tonight and I wish her the best of luck in her future goals. Running five miles? Earning a business degree? No sweat.
Andrea is easily the perfect combination of beauty and brains. Not only is she in show choir and can play a mean piano (since childhood, may I add) she is also hoping to one day be a doctor. We here at Colagrossi Studio have no doubt that her stellar personality and determination will take her far! Congrats Andrea! It was a pleasure meeting you and your family!
